This activity taught about the methods of assessment and the benefits to teachers and students. It implies that when students are given an opportunity to assess themselves and peers, they are encouraged to take responsibilities for their learning and make them want to perform better. Peer assessment, however, can make students fell as if their peers are being critical or they may not want to give a bad review of their friend.
overall, this activity has forced e to take a hard look at my own assessment methods which I now feel is "outdated", and moving towards the light to employing new strategies.
